KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Police were investigating a homicide Tuesday morning in the same house where a homicide occurred just a few months ago.

Kansas City, Kan., police were called to the house near North 24th Street and Haskell Avenue just before midnight.

Inside the home, they found a man in his 30s with an apparent gunshot wound.

Investigators are not releasing much about the case, only that there is some twist in the case. Officer said the case may be connected to a few recent homicides in the city. They said they will possibly release more information later on Tuesday.

Police were questioning several people, including two women who found the victim, officers said.

The family of the latest victim said he moved into the home a month after the first death. Police said there was no connection.
