KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A woman was shot while sitting on her front porch on Monday night, police said.Police got a call about 7:20 p.m. that shots were fired near East 54th Street and Highland Avenue.When they arrived at the scene, officer said they found the woman injured in a drive-by shooting. She was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.Officers said they were having a difficult time getting a description of the suspect vehicle because witnesses differed in their accounts of what happened.No suspects are in custody.
