KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- A 19-year-old girl was shot in the head Friday morning at a Kansas City, Kan., home.

Police called the incident a major case death investigation.

Krystal Dewalt was sleeping at her boyfriend's house near South 78th Street and Kansas Avenue when she was killed.

When police arrived, they found Dewalt dead and two adults and two teenage boys in the home.

Officers were questioning the four family members.

Annette Kugler, Dewalt's mother, said the last thing she said to her daughter was, "I love you, baby. Bye."
