OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Alert workers at an Overland Park hotel noticed some suspicious activity in one of the rooms and called police, Overland Park police said.Undercover officers staked out a room on the second floor of the Settle Inn hotel at West 107th Street and Roe Avenue, police said.Officers arrested two people, and they were booked into the Johnson County jail on Tuesday, according to the Johnson County Sheriff's Office booking log online.Prosecutors later charged Jennifer T. Russell, 20, of Andover, Kan., with prostitution and Quincy D. Gholar, 33, of Overland Park, with promoting prostitution, according to the booking log.
Both of the charges were misdemeanors, according to the booking log.
