It will have been 10 years on Saturday since a couple in their 50s were found dead in Leavenworth County, and the case remains unsolved.

The bodies of Lawrence and Teresa Daigle, 54 and 51, were found near Dakota Drive and 171st Street.

The married couple were from Texas, and Leavenworth County Sheriff David Zoellner said drug activity may have brought them to the area.

Investigators spoke to a witness who saw the couple's truck with two people standing next to it.

Zoellner encouraged anyone with any information about the case to call the sheriff's department at (913) 682-5724.
