Surveillance Video Released In Robbery

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police have released surveillance footage that they believe shows the people who attacked two workers in a Westport club.A camera across a parking lot near Manor Square in Westport show two men crossing the street are the robbers, headed to the Beaumont Club's office, police said. The camera's time stamp read 3:49 p.m.The club employees were selling tickets for upcoming shows when they were confronted by the robbers at the club's office on Monday.Police said the men pulled a gun, emptied the safe, then bound the two ticket sellers with duct tape.
The robbers walked out at 3:45 p.m., according to the surveillance camera clock.Police said the ticket sellers were not hurt.They said the robbers took off with thousands of dollars, including a lot of rolled coins.Anyone with information that could help them identify the people on the surveillance video is asked to call the Crime Stoppers TIPS Hot Line at 816-474-TIPS.
