KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Kansas City, Kan., police were investigating an early Saturday morning stabbing.

Officers were called to a house at North 12th Street and Orville Avenue around 4 a.m., where they discovered a man dead inside.

Homicide detectives received a search warrant and spent the morning looking inside the house for evidence.

Several witnesses were taken to police headquarters for questioning.

The victim’s name has not yet been released.
