OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Twenty-five firefighter cadets from Canada, France and all over the United States are at the Overland Park Fire Training Center for a weeklong camp that will teach them everything about fighting fires.Camp Inferno was created to expose teenage girls to a career path they might not have considered."I guess some people say it's scary, but I don't want to sound too tough, but I wasn't scared," said Anna Raines, a cadet. "But it was just exciting being on top of the fire like that and have the huge shield of water come out."The aim is to recruit more women to be firefighters.
