OVERLAND PARK, Kan. -- Police investigating a wreck that killed two women were looking for a dark-blue sedan Thursday.

Ashden E. Kranker, 22, of Kansas City, Mo., and Meghan N. Lampo, 29, of Overland Park, died in the wreck on May 15.

The car they were in slammed into a utility pole near West 119th and Riley streets.

Just before the wreck, a dark-blue sedan merged into oncoming traffic near the Rosanna Square Shopping Center, forcing other drivers to hit their brakes, a witness told police.

It happened just seconds before the fatal crash.

Police were trying to identify the driver of the dark-blue sedan.
