GLADSTONE, Mo. -- The tornado that touched down last week in Gladstone threatened to cancel school for the remainder of the year for some students, but administrators put Plan B into effect.

Antioch Bible Baptist Church opened to the students and teachers from Oakhill Day School. Students will finish their 13 remaining days of the school year at the church.

Oakhill suffered severe roof and water damage in Thursday's storms. School officials said Oakhill should be repaired and ready for classes when school opens in the fall.
