KANSAS CITY, Kan. -- Family and friends placed flowers and balloons on the corner where a Kansas City, Kan., man was killed.Chuck McElroy, 47, was killed at Saturday night at North 32nd Street and Brown Avenue."It hurts, but I'm try to be strong because I know he always told me I was a strong person, and he always told me how much he loved me and my children," said LaShasta Payne, his daughter. His family admitted that McElroy had a troubled life, but they said he didn't deserve to be shot 11 times."He had a drug history, yes he did, but like any human being, he was human. He did not deserve to be hunted like some wild animal," Payne said. They urged anyone with any information about the case to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
