KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Kansas City school was closed Tuesday following an early-morning water main break.The water main broke around 4 a.m. near West 74th Street and Wornall Road.Students at Cook Montessori were transferred from the school near West 73rd Street and Pennsylvania Avenue to Holliday Montessori, at East 72nd Street and Jackson Avenue.
Bused students will be transported home as usual at the end of the school day. Parents who normally drive their students to Cook will be able to pick them up at Cook at the end of the day.
