Security Guard Cleared In Deadly Shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Kansas City security guard will not face any charges in a deadly shooting.Prosecutors said the guard shot Anthony Trezvant in self-defense last month.Trezvant shoplifted from the Price Chopper at Brookside and West Meyer boulevards and then ran from the scene, police said.When the guard tried to stop him, investigators said Trezvant stabbed him in the throat and then the guard pulled his gun and shot the suspect.
