A Kansas City nonprofit's Meals On Wheels van was replaced, just two days after armed carjackers stole it during a delivery run.

Kansas City Transportation Group -- a cab, limo and shuttle company gave the Don Bosco Centers a 2006 Ford Club Wagon van Thursday. Kansas City radio station KCMO raised at least $4,000 by raffling segments of air time, and the center itself received $600 in donations.

A volunteer was delivering lunches in the white 1995 Chevrolet van to low-income seniors and people with disabilities when it was stolen by two armed men while the driver was stopped at a red light. There was more than $2,000 worth of food and equipment in the van, an official for the Don Bosco Center said.
