Student Claims Teacher Sent Him Picture Of Her Breasts

A Warrensburg student said he received sexually suggestive text messages from his teacher, and he hated turning her in, but he said when those text messages evolved into a nude picture, he felt he had no choice.

KCTV5 News chose not to identify the student, an 18-year-old Warrensburg High School senior.

He said his teacher stalked him, and when she started sending him inappropriate text messages four weeks ago, he tried to ignore them.

Then last week, he said, she e-mailed him a picture of her breasts.

The teenager said he showed the picture to his friends and word got to school officials who then questioned the teacher.

Warrensburg School District Superintendent Deb Orr said in a statement Friday, "the district has accepted the teacher's immediate resignation, and has made reports to the proper authorities. There is no indication at this time of any other inappropriate behavior."

A KCTV5 News crew went to the teacher's home to give her an opportunity to speak, but she quickly shut the door without a comment.

According to her school Web page, she's married with four children, and the student said he had no idea why she decided to sexually harass him.

KCTV5 News spoke with Warrensburg police, who said they were not investigating the teacher, so she most likely would not face any criminal charges.

The student said he never encouraged his teacher to do it, and he hoped the rumors would die down since the situation had been dealt with.
