KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Kansas City police are looking for a man who called police about a woman shot dead, but left before officers arrived.

The woman was shot and killed at a house near East 65th Street and Troost Avenue on Saturday.

Police said a man called them from the house but was not there when they arrived and found the woman.

The victim's name has not been released.
