KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Two women assaulted a woman in a Wal-Mart store, she said, after an encounter with a teenager. The woman said it happened at a Wal-Mart near Interstate 70 and Sterling Avenue."A little gal jumped out in front of me, and I almost hit her with my cart," the woman said. "The way she jumped out in front of me, it was just like, 'Excuse me.'"The woman said she thought the teenager was being a smart aleck, so she replied, "Just run right out in front of me, you'd probably do it right in front of a car."Two women who were with the girl then ran across the store toward her, she said."(Two women) grabbed the back of my hair and my ponytail, beat me on the back of my head," the woman said.Police took down a report and planned to review surveillance video. In the meantime, the shopper said she was going to press charges."I shouldn't be assaulted like that in my own neighborhood store," she said. The teenager and the women who were with her declined to comment.
