KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A three-year investigation by local police and the FBI came to a head early Monday morning.Police and the FBI said they joined forces with the postal service to take down a stolen property ring worth millions of dollars.Twelve people from Kansas City, seven men and five women, were taken into custody in raids that took place all over the city.Investigators said they were looking into possible mail fraud in which millions of dollars worth of property had been sold on the Internet.
