Teen Questioned About Facebook Comments

Police Question Tonganoxie Teen About Online Threats

UPDATED: 10:32 am CST January 16, 2008

A Tonganoxie student was pulled from class and taken into police custody in connection with something police said he posted on the social networking site Facebook.

The 15-year-old boy is accused of posting a threat on his Facebook page that said he hated the school and planned to kill more than a dozen people.

Another student told his parents, who alerted the school.

When deputies talked to the teen, he told them it was just a joke and he deleted the message.

But hours later, police returned to the school after the same student allegedly told a teenage girl she'd be the first one killed.

Prosecutors said they can't comment about charges because the student is underage.
