Roscoe Returned To Family

"Where's Roscoe?"

It's a question KCTV5 News has been asking now for a couple of months after an animal control officer took a dog away from its owners, claiming it was part pit bull.

The Cockrum family had adopted Roscoe from a Kansas City, Kan., city animal shelter, which declared the dog a shepherd mix.

On Thursday, Roscoe was returned to the Cockrum family, after he was neutered by Spay and Neuter Kansas City.

The Cockrums had to pay a fine for failing to register their dog under the city's animal adoption rules.
