KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Authorities have identified a teenager found dead in a running car early on Tuesday morning.Shortly after 4:30 a.m., a police officer on patrol found Maria Torres-Valle, 18, dead in a red Pontiac Grand Am parked on Woodland Avenue just north of 27th Street.The car was running, and the headlights were on.Authorities hadn't yet said what led to her death, but they were investigating her death as a homicide.They didn't have any suspects in custody by Tuesday evening, and detectives urged anyone with any information about the case to call the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
