KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A man was rushed to the hospital after he fell about 15 feet down an elevator shaft in Kansas City.The man was delivering packages to a building on West 13th Terrace near Hickory Street around 9 a.m. when the accident happened.Fire crews used a pulley system with a rescue basket to get the man outHe was alert and conscious, but does have broken bones, rescue crews said.The circumstances surrounding his fall have not been released.
