LIBERTY, Mo. -- Crews were working to restore phones service to 1,500 homes and businesses in Liberty.A crook cut the main phone line on North Stewart Road for the second time in less than a month to steal thousands of copper wires.Crews expected it to take several days for the phone service to be restored to all the customers.
