The Kansas Compassionate Care Coalition is seeking to change a state law to allow doctors to prescribe marijuana to patients with serious medical conditions.
A 2006 poll, paid for by the coalition, found 62 percent of Kansans wouldn't oppose legalizing medicinal marijuana.
