GRANDVIEW, Mo. -- Larry Gaunt and his granddaughter, Sierra, were training for the MS 150 bike ride Monday night when a pickup truck struck them from behind on Raytown Road, just south of Truman Road in Grandview.Gaunt, 62, died at the scene.Sierra's family said the 14-year-old girl is brain dead, but remains on life support so she can be an organ donor.No charges have been filed against the driver.
