Some Northland business owners were steaming mad when they saw what happened in their shops on Wednesday.

Crooks destroyed 10 air conditioning units along Englewood Road.

The thieves caused around $25,000 in damage, stealing 700 pounds of copper and leaving most of an entire strip mall sweating.

This was the second time in just a few years that the businesses had to go without their air conditioning. A tornado destroyed the units in May 2003.
