Driver Charged In Funeral Procession Death

Prosecutors on Monday charged a man in connection with a fatal accident during a funeral last month.

Jon Mihm, 20, was charged with involuntary manslaughter, accused of hitting Steven Keith, 51, with his SUV while Keith led a funeral procession in Blue Springs last month.

According to court documents, Mihm's SUV sideswiped Keith's motorcycle near the intersection of Woods Chapel Road and Briarwood Drive.

Keith died two days later from his injuries.
