Newspaper Signs 5-Year Deal To Print, Distribute WSJ

The Midwest edition of The Wall Street Journal delivered in Missouri and Kansas is now being printed by The Kansas City Star.

Star publisher Mark Zieman said the newspaper was awarded a five-year contract to print and distribute The Journal in the two states.

The Star has signed more than 25 commercial printing agreements since opening its $199 million production facility in 2006.

The deal with The Wall Street Journal was announced Monday.
