(Sports Network) - The New York Yankees have optioned pitcher David Robertson to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre and recalled pitcher Alfredo Aceves from the minor league club.

Robertson has a record of 3-0 in 21 appearances this season, his first in the majors, but his earned run average is a lofty 6.31. He pitched in each of the last two games against the Red Sox, and on Wednesday surrendered a grand slam to Boston's Dustin Pedroia in the eighth inning of an 11-3 loss.

Aceves has pitched at three different levels this season and has a combined record of 8-6 with a 2.62 ERA in 25 games, including 23 starts. At Scranton, the 25-year-old right-hander was 2-3 with a 4.12 ERA in 10 games, including eight starts.
