Two Metro Bus Routes Being Eliminated
Service Also Affected On Several Other Routes Starting Monday

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Two Metro Bus Service routes are being eliminated and several others will have adjusted time schedules beginning June 28.The routes affected include service on larger heavily-traveled routes such as MAX, #25-Troost, and #39-39th Street. #257-Sante Fe Hills Connector and #258- Longview Connector are being discontinued. However, service in these areas will continue to be available through MetroFlex, a demand responsive service available by calling 816-346-0346.These changes are being made by the Kansas City Area Transportation Authority in response to a $9 million budget shortfall.The following routes are reducing frequency or discontinuing service at certain times of the day or on weekends:MAX
