INDEPENDENCE, Mo. -- Low-income families can have their taxes prepared for free thanks to a partnership between Community Services League and TRCB-VITA in Independence, Mo.The service will be available at the 300 W. Maple Ave. location in Independence on Fridays from 9:30 a.m. to noon and from 1-3 p.m. from Feb. 6 to April 10.For more information, call the VITA office at 816-796-6660 with questions.
