At Quest Diagnostics Incorporated, we understand urgency. But more than speed, we focus our energies on accuracy. Currently, we seek a Teleinterviewer I.

Basic Purpose:
This position completes insurance applications via telephone for a single client company.

Hours:
Training: Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm for four weeks of classroom training.
Schedule: Monday-Friday (10:00am-7:00pm) or (12:00pm-9:00pm) and every fourth Saturday 8:00am-4:30pm

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Complete interviews with insurance applicants via telephone. These interviews will include gathering medical, financial, occupational, and avocation histories. Review and edit information collected during the interview for quality assurance purposes.
Manage the C4 Call Management System by making telephone calls, logging call attempts, documenting information within orders as necessary, and recording call results.
Responds to the needs and requests of clients and LabOne management and staff in a professional and expedient manner.
Observes all compliance policies and safety policies and procedures as outlined in the Lab One Safety Manual or safety matters included in other special training.

Knowledge & Experience:
Education/Experience
High School Diploma or Equivalent required, some colleges courses preferred.
Minimum Skills Required
• Strong communication skills
• Accurate, detail oriented
• Proficient teamwork skills
• Good work attendance record
• Organizational skills

Minimum Skills Preferred
• Background in medical terminology
• Customer service experience

Physical Demands
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate in person and on the telephone. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel in order to operate computer keyboard, office equipment and other essential tasks. The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, bend, stoop, crouch and reach with hands and arms. This position infrequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing up to 25 pounds.

Scheduling and shift assignments and work location may be changed at any time, as required by business necessity.

Basic Purpose:
This position completes insurance applications via telephone for a single client company.

Working Hours:
The work from home position would require working from the Lee's Summit office for 6-8 weeks.
Training: Monday-Thursday 6:00pm-10:00pm, Friday 6:00pm-9:00pm for two weeks.
Hours: Tuesday-Friday 4:00pm-8:00pm, Saturdays 12:30pm-4:30pm for 4-6 weeks then home OR
Tuesday-Friday 3:00pm-7:00pm, Saturdays 12:30pm-4:30pm for 4-6 weeks then home

Required Equipment:
DSL/Cable connection speed 1.0 Mbit down/256 Kb upload speed minimum
-(Cannot be through a WiFi internet connection or satellite provider.)
Home telephone line with local Kansas City area number

The position may also require a router and multiple in home visits for setup and repair of equipment. The smart computer and all other necessary technical equipment will be provided by Quest.
