City To Show 'Shrek 3' For Youth Movie Night

KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- "Shrek 3" will be the featured movie at the KC After Dark summer youth movie night on Monday in the Power & Light District downtown.The city's Youth Advocacy Office, a division of the City Manager's Office, arranged the movie night for families and their children, 17 years old and younger.The movie will be shown under the clock tower on Grand Boulevard by the Chefburger and Chipotle restaurants starting at 9 p.m.
Families can bring their own refreshments or buy them at the event. Blankets and lawn chairs are encouraged.
