Arrowhead Yacht Club, 396 N Winnebago Drive, Lake Winnebago, MO 64034
Water-skiers and wake boarders will be Freezin for a Reason as they brave the icy waters on New Year's Day to raise money for a local family in need. The Cox family, from Lake Winnebago, has 3 children who each have Shwachman-Diamond Syndrome, a rare, genetic disorder affecting the pancreas, bone marrow, and skeleton. Even with insurance, the family's medical costs are astronomical. Dress warm, come out and see the skiers, enjoy a bite to eat and donate to the cause. Donations can also be made at any Union Bank.
