Come celebrate Sarah Macy’s life. Sarah was diagnosed with Wilm’s tumor in May 2005. Four months later she passed away after a brave and determined fight. Sarah is survived by her loving parents, Steve and Joan, her older sisters, Catherine and Isabelle who attend St. Joseph Grade School. A live Nativity scene at a country little church in the middle of nowhere just like Bethlehem. Our people will be dressed as Mary, Joseph, shepherds, imagine-you might even see a live animal! Hot chocolate and homemade cookies will be served. In the event of inclement weather, the Live Nativity will take place December 13 and 14.

KC Clay Guild hosts 2008 Holiday Sale & Studio Tour

Eighteen local artists will show and sell their work at the KC Clay Guild. In addition, more than fifteen artists around the Kansas City area will open their studios to public. The artists will display a variety of work; from dinnerware, to holiday ornaments, sculptural pieces, and jewelry. Ten percent of all sales at the KC Clay Guild go to support the Guild.

4th Annual Holiday Homes Tour

The Fourth Annual Holiday Homes Tour will feature nine exclusive Lawrence locations decorated for the holidays. These locations are being opened to the public and will showcase their decorating ideas for any space or taste. Tickets will be on sale at both Lawrence Hy-Vee locations, Weaver's Dept. Store-3rd floor and the Health Care Access Clinic in Lawrence. Tickets are also available online until December 5. All proceeds will help provide health care services for the uninsured in Douglas County.
