Police evacuated an area school Friday morning after a bomb threat was found on a bathroom wall.

School Superintendent Bob Albers said students were moved from the Basehor-Linwood High School near West 155th Street and Leavenworth Road to a nearby church while bomb-sniffing dogs checked the school.

No injuries were reported and no device was found, police said.

Students were returned to the school by lunchtime.

Albers said they had a similar incident a couple of years ago. Two students were expelled.
