KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Police took a 11-year-old boy into custody Friday when he showed up to school with a non-lethal kitchen utensil that he said he forgot to leave at home, a school district spokeswoman said.The sixth-grader didn't threaten anyone, but procedure at the Southwest Early College Campus required that police be called, said Andre Riley, the Kansas City, Mo., School District spokeswoman.A police officer was seen outside the school putting the boy into a patrol car.
