The appearance featured plenty of musical talent with the band, drumline and choir showing off for KCTV5 camera. The little Blue Jays preschool students also showed up to show their faces on camera. Is your high school a Cool School? The KCTV5 More In The Morning Team will be live at one high school every Friday during the 2009-10 school year. We are looking for high schools that have a number of different "cool" non-athletic achievements. It's not just one thing that makes a school "cool," it's many. Students at Harrisonville High woke up with plenty of enthusiasm to show a number of reasons why they think their school is a Cool School. The band played throughout the morning, the robotics team used its robot to shoot T-shirts into the crowd, the dance team strutted its stuff and students packed the gym to get their chance to talk a little bit about what makes their school special.More


Smithville High School students found all types of pink to wear for their appearance as a KCTV5 Wendy's Cool School. Students are raising money for breast cancer research and are using a number of different activities to raise awareness and money for breast cancer research. More


Gardner-Edgerton High School students and staff woke up early and came with enthusiasm to appear as a Wendy's KCTV5 Cool School. Some of what students showed off included the dance team, cheer team, engineering club, baton twirler and drama class. More


As a KCTV5 Cool School, Lawrence High School students showed up early to show why they think their school is cool. Students showed off the jazz band, cheerleaders, orchestra, artists, community service club and their Chesty Lion mascot. More


Students at Lee's Summit West High School came out in droves at an early hour to show off why their school is a Wendy's Cool School. More


Center High School woke up early to show off why they are a KCTV5 Cool School. More

Shawnee Mission Northwest served as the first Wendy's Cool School of the year and came out with loads of energy and spirit on an early Friday morning. More
