Police Seek Tips In Cold Case Shooting Death

A Kansas City teen was gunned down three years ago and police are still looking for the killer.

Arthur Timley, 24, was on his way from a club in Truman Corners in south Kansas City to an after hours party in the early hours of Feb. 13, 2006.

Timley was driving and a friend was in the passenger seat when someone started shooting into the car.

There were two other cars following Timley to the party, but they had gotten separated in traffic. By the time they caught up to them on 71 Highway, Timley had been shot.

Timley had a son, who is now 6 years old. Timley's family members still celebrate his birthday every year and get together on the anniversary of his death. One day soon they hope to hear that police have found his killer.

"We don't know nothing. We don't have anything to go by. We don't know who did it, why they did it or anything else," said Sharon Oliver, Timley's aunt.

Police ask that anyone with information about Arthur Timley's shooting death to call the Crime Stoppers TIPS Hot Line at 816-474-TIPS.
