Industrial Maintenance Job Responsibilities

Responsible for efficient management of work- time to ensure projects and work orders are completed in effective time frame to decrease down time.

Responsible for installing and repairing electrical systems, hydraulic, pneumatic and electronic components for industrial machinery and equipment

Responsible for attaining a proactive, Predictive Maintenance approach to the daily function and operation of our facility.

Responsible for completion of work orders.

Responsible for ensuring that all equipment is operating safely and must support all the mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic needs of the operation.

Responsible for completing all paperwork in an accurate manner.

Responsible for following all written instructions.

Competent and safe operation of equipment, tools, forklifts, etc.

Responsible for complying with all safety regulations, food safety procedures including all BRC and GMP requirements and specifications, and use of the appropriate PPE.

May be required to work any shift as well as weekends.

Experience:Minimum 3 years of experience in industrial maintenance preferably in a food manufacturing environment.

Education:Post-Secondary technical training and education required.

Skills:Strong working knowledge of electrical wiring, soldering and welding equipment, programming and troubleshooting PLC control systems, mechanical systems, as well as calibration of electronic and analog measuring and recording instruments. Requires the use of two-way radios, telephones, paging system, PC, Microsoft® Excel, Word, Access and Outlook timekeeping equipment, copying and other office machines and equipment.  Must be flexible, and have the ability to work overtime and on weekends when required.

Production Technician Job Responsibilities:

Competent operation of equipment and execution of all aspects of a specific function, i.e., Mixing, Bagging, or Floor Operations.

Responsible for completing all paperwork in an accurate manner.

Responsible for following all written instructions and formulas.

Responsible for complying with all safety regulations, food safety procedures including all BRC and GMP requirements and specifications, and use of the appropriate PPE.

Clean and sterilize vats and factory processing areas.

Follow recipes to produce food products of specified flavor, texture, clarity, bouquet, or color.

Inspect equipment after cleaning to ensure that product residue has been removed.

Observe and listen to equipment to detect possible malfunctions, such as leaks or plugging, and report malfunctions supervisors.

Place products on carts or conveyors to transfer them to the next stage of processing.

Record production and test data for each food product batch, such as the ingredients used, temperature, test results, and time cycle.

Set up, operate, and tend equipment that mixes, blends, or processes ingredients in the manufacturing of food products, according to formulas or recipes.

Perform safety inspections in manufacturing or industrial setting

Experience:1 year of experience in manufacturing, warehouse or related environment preferred, but not required.

Education:High School Diploma or the equivalent

Skills:Requires the use of telephones, paging system, 2-way radios, PC, timekeeping, copying and other office machines and equipment.
