HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
The KCATA (The METRO) is seeking a Human Resources Manager to perform professional and highly technical work of considerable difficulty overseeing a range of administrative functions related to human resource management and organizational development, which includes pension administration and leave under the Family Medical Leave Act; compensation and classifications; Affirmative Action program development, policy development, staff training and development; employee relations, and the audit and analysis of internal processes, policies and procedures.
This position requires:
BS/BA degree in a Human Resources discipline, Management, Business/Public Administration plus 3 or more years of senior level management experience. An exceptional knowledge of modern human resource practices, policies, procedures, trends, and best practices. Current and updated experience with governmental pension plan administration and regulations. Experience in the development and administration of AA plans. Current knowledge of government regulations as they relate to FSA, HRA, and mandatory and voluntary benefits. Strong interpersonal skills and an exceptional ability to work positively with and through people. Ability to effectively apply customer service skills and maintain positive work relationships. Strong problem solving skills and the ability to investigate and positively resolve customer complaints and conflicts. Strong strategic planning and analytical skills along with the ability to calculate and interpret complex formulas and mathematical problems. General knowledge of HRIS systems. Ability to effectively and accurately produce statistical and analytical reports. Experience in administering the ADA, FMLA, FSLA, COBRA and the ACA. Considerable knowledge of and experience in modern compensation and classification procedures.
Pay: Low to mid 60s, DOQ + an excellent benefit package which includes paid vacation and pension.
