Monday: An icy combination of sleet and freezing rain early in the morning changing to all rain by mid-morning as the precipitation tapers. Some valley locations – including parts of the Connecticut Valley – may hold on to freezing conditions until as late as noon. Total ice and snow accumulations should remain between a coating to 2" with lesser amounts near the Shoreline. The afternoon will be mainly cloudy with sprinkles and drizzle.
